Laura Johns

Laura Johns is a highly experienced professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Laura began their career in 2005 as a Public Relations Intern at GodwinGroup, followed by a Marketing Analyst role at SmartSynch, Inc. In 2006, they joined The University of Alabama as an Advertising Coordinator - The Crimson White | Office of Student Media. In 2007, they moved to Itron where they held several roles, including Marketing Manager, Smart Grid Solutions, Director of Corporate Development & Marketing, Senior Manager: Marketing & Communications, and Senior Marketing Analyst. In 2014, they joined Fuse.Cloud as Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President, Corporate Culture & Marketing. In 2021, they founded The Business Growers and currently serves as the Founder + CEO.

Laura Johns attended Mississippi College and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies. Laura then attended The University of Alabama and obtained a Master of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication in 2005-2006. Laura returned to The University of Alabama in 2006-2007 and obtained a Master of Science in Advertising and PR.
