Eric McDaniel has a strong work history in the fields of cyber engineering, cyber security, and network system engineering. Eric is currently employed at Fuse Integration as a Cyber Engineering Manager. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at Fuse Integration and also as a Network System Engineer. Before joining Fuse Integration, Eric was employed at Sayres and Associates, Corp as a Fleet Systems Engineer, where they provided technical advisory and support to a US Navy strike group commander for networking and communications. Prior to that, they served in the US Navy, where they held several roles including CANES Administrator, Information Assurance Manager, Helpdesk Supervisor, and Communications Officer/Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC). Eric'sresponsibilities in the US Navy involved overseeing network installations, managing a team of technicians, implementing technology integration plans, and providing support for enterprise networks in a Coalition/Joint Forces environment. Eric has a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of IT and has consistently demonstrated their ability to successfully support and manage complex systems and projects.
Eric McDaniel attended Western Governors University from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
In terms of additional certifications, Eric obtained the following:
- In January 2017, they became a VMWare Certified Associate 6.
- In November 2018, they obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from PeopleCert.
- In February 2019, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA.
- In May 2019, Eric obtained both the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
- In September 2019, they completed the Resilient Accord - Exercising Continuity Plans for Cyber Incidents certification offered by FEMA.
