Patrick Burksson has a diverse work experience. Patrick currently works as a Project Manager at Fuse Integration since July 2021. Prior to this, they served in the US Navy from 2012 to 2021, holding various roles. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Operations Scheduler and Engineering Assessor, responsible for scheduling non-nuclear shipboard engineering assessments and training shipboard engineering departments for procedural competency and material status. Before that, they served as a Reactor Division Officer on USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they attended the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) as a Student. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Combat Electronics Division Officer on USS New Orleans (LPD-18).

Patrick Burksson has a solid education background with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University, obtained from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Engineering Management (MS) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Old Dominion University, from 2020 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Patrick has obtained several certifications. These include the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certifications from Scrum.org, obtained in October 2020. Patrick also holds a certification as a Nuclear Engineer from Naval Reactors, obtained in November 2017.
