Qin Li's work experience is as follows:

Qin Li started their career as an Industrial and Graphic Designer at Jimei Industrial Design from 1998 to 2001. Qin gained experience in consumer electronics, packaging, and logo design during this time.

From 2003 to 2004, Qin Li worked as an Industrial Designer at Lunar Design, where they contributed to projects such as the Moonshine project, HP display, and Oral-B.

In 2007, Qin Li joined the Academy of Art University as a Directed Study Advisor for the MFA program, providing guidance to students until 2009.

Qin Li then joined Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) in 2016, serving in various roles such as At-Large Director and Chair of the Board of Directors until 2021. Qin played a significant role in shaping the organization's brand experience and supporting the design community globally.

From 2010 to 2012, Qin Li worked at fuseproject as a Creative Lead, overseeing projects such as the Herman Miller Sayl Chair, Jawbone ICON, ERA, and UP, and Aesir phone.

Qin Li's tenure at Fuseproject continued from 2012 to 2017, where they held the position of Director of Industrial Design. During this time, they led a team and contributed to a wide range of design categories, including furniture, wearable tech, consumer electronics, interior spaces, and health care.

In 2017, Qin Li was promoted to Vice President of Design at fuseproject. In this role, they lead the firm's Industrial Design, Digital Design, Environments, Brand, and Design Operations team with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach.

In addition to their professional roles, Qin Li has also served as a Juror for various design competitions, including the CLIO Awards, The One Show - Intellectual Property, and Spark Design & Architecture Awards. Qin has also taught as an Adjunct Professor of Industrial Design at the California College of the Arts in 2015.

Qin Li received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Industrial Design from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in the years 1997 to 2001. This was followed by completing a Master of Fine Art degree in Industrial Design at the Academy of Art University from 2001 to 2004.
