Andy Fishman

Andy Fishman is a Managing Director of Vector Capital. Andy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Aspect Software, Vispero, and Saba Software. Andy was previously a Director of Allegro Development (acquired by Ion Group), RAE Systems (acquired by Honeywell), Teletrac (acquired by Danaher), and Aladdin Knowledge Systems (merged with SafeNet and acquired by Gemalto).

Prior to joining Vector, Andy worked at Silver Lake Partners, where he focused on large-scale technology buyouts in North America and Europe. Prior to Silver Lake Partners, Andy worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he focused on mergers and financings in the technology and telecommunications industries.

On the operational side, Andy has worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Artificial Intelligence Lab, and at Sun Microsystems as a software engineer. He also worked at Vlingo, a mobile start-up based in Boston, as its head of Business Development.

Andy received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds a B.A. in computer science from Dartmouth College where he graduated magna cum laude.
