Curtis Piehler

Curtis Piehler has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and operations. Curtis started their career in 2006 at KayPENTAX as a Wiring Assembler. In 2009, they joined Network Billing Systems (A FusionConnect Company) as a NOC Tech/Senior Tech, where they worked until 2012 when they became the Network Operations Center Lead, a position they held until 2014. In 2014, Curtis joined Fusion Connect as a Senior Network Engineer and later took on the role of Senior Manager, Network Engineering from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they serve as the Director of Network Engineering at Fusion Connect.

Curtis Piehler obtained their Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) degree in Telecommunications Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Curtis attended the institute from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the County College of Morris, where they also studied from 2006 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Curtis Piehler has obtained several certifications from Fortinet. In January 2022, they obtained the Fortinet NSE 4: Certified Professional certification. In November 2022, they earned the Fortinet NSE 6 - Cloud Security for AWS and Fortinet NSE 6 - Cloud Security for Azure certifications. Finally, in December 2022, they obtained the Fortinet NSE 7: Network Security Architect – Public Cloud Security certification.
