Brian Pontarelli

Brian Pontarelli has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. In 2000, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for XOR. Two years later, they were a Customer Facing Engineer for BEA Systems and a Senior Software Engineer for YRC. In 2003, they became an Architect for Orbitz Worldwide and in 2004, they were the President of the Chicago Java Users Group. From 2006 to 2007, they were the Director of Technology for Naymz.com and the Architect for texturemedia. In 2013, they became the Sponsorship Committee Chair for Denver Startup Week and in 2018, they became the Founder and CEO of FusionAuth and CleanSpeak.

Brian Pontarelli attended Arvada West High School from 1992 to 1995. Brian then continued their education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 1999.
