Daniel DeGroff

CTO at FusionAuth

Daniel DeGroff has extensive experience in the software engineering industry. Daniel'scareer began in 2001 when they were hired as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM. Daniel returned to IBM the following year in the same role. In 2003, they were promoted to Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Vision Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2014-2018, they worked at CleanSpeak, first as Principal Engineer and then as CTO. Daniel has been CTO of FusionAuth since 2018. At CleanSpeak, they were responsible for the profanity and moderation platform used by some of the largest game companies and corporations in the world.

Daniel DeGroff obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from South Dakota State University between 1998 and 2002. Daniel obtained a Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification from Red Hat in February 2007 and a Red Hat Certified Engineer certification from Red Hat in 2004. Daniel also obtained an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification in 2006.
