Adam Roth has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Program Manager - Major Accounts at Fūsus, where they are responsible for integrating and enhancing all public safety and investigations assets for law enforcement and public safety personnel.
Adam is also a Co-Host of the podcast "Security Cocktail Hour". In addition, they are a Member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), and the New York Metro InfraGard, where they share information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.
Prior to their current roles, Adam worked as a Managing Security Consultant at IBM, where they advised high-profile clients on Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting and Threat Management.
Adam also held the position of Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where they implemented leading-edge security technology to protect financial information and defend intellectual property.
Before that, Adam served as the Director of Technology at Integrated Solution Partners Corp., where they led all aspects of the technology consultancy firm. Adam also worked as the Vice-President of Technology at VIRSIG, where they designed and managed customized security and communications systems for major clients.
Adam started their career as a Per Diem EMT - Special Events at Midwood Ambulance Service.
Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in various roles, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked for.
Adam Roth has a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Excelsior University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Adam has obtained several certifications, including the "IBM Consulting Way" certification from IBM in January 2023. Other notable certifications include the "Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM)" from ISACA in January 2004, the "CompTIA Security+ Certification" from CompTIA in December 2003, and the "Project Management Professional (PMP)®" certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2013. Adam also holds various certifications in cybersecurity, such as the "GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)" from GIAC Certifications, the "Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)" from (ISC)², and the "GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)" from GIAC Certifications. Additionally, they have certifications in cloud computing, deep learning, and blockchain, all obtained from IBM. Adam recently obtained the "Cybereason Certified Threat Analyst" certification from Cybereason in June 2022.
