Anzer Khan

Team Lead Genetics at Future Fields

Anzer Khan began their work experience as a Graduate Student Representative for The RNA Society from August 2018 to August 2019. Anzer then became a PhD Student at CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology from January 2016 to January 2021, where they focused on studying the function of the Drosophila Adar gene. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from January 2021 to July 2022, conducting research on the link between inflammation and neurodegeneration in fruit flies. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Scientist at Future Fields, starting in September 2022, where they are involved in genetic strategies for producing recombinant proteins and exploring new gene expression methods within an insect expression system.

Anzer Khan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomolecular Chemistry and Bioinformatics from Masaryk University Brno between 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from South Asian University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Anzer Khan's education journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Delhi University, which they pursued from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Anzer Khan obtained a certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in November 2022.
