Shantanu Patra

Shantanu Patra is a Quantitative Software Developer at Futures First since January 2024, specializing in ultra-low-latency trading systems and high-performance algorithms within competitive derivatives markets, utilizing the Trading Technologies platform and SDK. Prior experience includes a role as a Quant Research and Application Developer at Futures First, focusing on advanced market analysis and trading systems. Shantanu also served as a Network Architect intern at Damodar Valley Corporation, where responsibilities included network security protocols and vulnerability assessments. In addition, Shantanu held leadership positions as Cyber Security Lead and Core Committee Member at roboVITics, the robotics club at VIT, and completed a Machine Learning Research Internship at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Shantanu is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at Vellore Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in July 2024.
