Future First’s believes that alumni can be inspirational role models and help schools do even more for their students. That is why we help state schools and colleges to build alumni communities. Former students can have a transformative effect on young people's confidence, motivation and skills. 

For generations, private schools and universities have seen the value in keeping former students engaged after they graduate. These alumni have an affinity to the young people who study in the years after them and are a part of the same community. 

With the lowest levels of social mobility in the OECD, young people across the UK are having their potential limited. In-school volunteers, financing school trips, e-mentoring programmes and relatable role models can all help equip young people with the support, aspiration and information they need to succeed.
