Michael Bierwirth

Michael Bierwirth has over 16 years of work experience. Michael is currently working at Future Fund as the Head of HR Governance, Remuneration & Analytics, a position they started in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PwC Australia for 13 years, holding various roles such as Director, Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Their tenure at PwC Australia ranged from July 2009 to April 2022. Before joining PwC Australia, they worked at the Sustainable Investment Research Institute as a Senior Research Analyst from May 2006 to June 2009. In this role, they provided proxy voting advice to fund managers, assessed Australian company remuneration and governance practices, and conducted research on environmental and social impacts of Australian companies.

Michael Bierwirth completed their Bachelor's degree in Business (Law) from Monash University. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Business Law from the same institution, which they completed by 2004.
