Future Generations University was founded in 2003 with the goal of increasing the effectiveness of community change practitioners around the world. It grew out of a UNICEF-sponsored study of successful community change work and the application of SEED-SCALE, a process for facilitating change based on human energy. 

Our Master of Arts in Applied Community Development builds the skills can capacity of mid-career community leaders. Instead of relocating to a campus, students remain in their own countries and continue serving their communities throughout the four-semester program. Our graduate program has trained community leaders from 44 countries. 

Future Generations University Headquarters is located in Franklin, West Virginia, USA. Our faculty and students connect with each other from all around the world.
