Andy Han

Andy Han is a driven student pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at New York University, with a keen interest in the intersection of philosophy and computer science, particularly the ethics of artificial intelligence. They have gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they worked on error telemetry visualization and scientific data in XR, and as a Tech Intern at Susquehanna International Group, where they focused on trade data. An accomplished independent researcher, Andy also engaged in projects related to incarceration theories and collaborative creativity. Currently, they serve as a Fellow at Future Impact Group, exploring AI welfare and sentience.
