Awais Saeed

Awais Saeed is an Information Security Engineer at Future since September 2020, specializing in cloud security across GCP, Azure, and AWS, as well as Google Workspace security. Awais's expertise includes managing AV, EDR, and various security tools, along with SIEM log management and vulnerability scanning using Tenable IO. Awais has achieved recognition as a Subject Matter Expert in FCA regulated financial services security and has led significant risk assessment initiatives aligned with PCI-DSS, GDPR, FCA, and ISO27001 standards. Awais has contributed to the implementation of an InfoSec-specific Learning Management System and policy documentation reforms, and has extensive experience in email security and malware investigation. Awais is also pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions (Cyber Security) at the University of South Wales, following earlier education at St. David's Catholic Sixth Form College and Cathays High School. Prior experience includes a role as a Retail Operative at Primark, showcasing adaptability in fast-paced environments.
