Heather Prentice

Heather Prentice currently serves as Deputy Editor for Yachting Monthly at Future, where responsibilities include commissioning and editing articles on cruising and adventure. With extensive experience in the yachting and journalism sectors, Heather has held a Non-Executive Board Member position at Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation Ltd since 2007, while also working as a Communications Consultant for M/Y NJORD’s launch at the Monaco Yacht Show from 2019 to 2021. Previous roles include Contributing Editor for various luxury yacht magazines, European Correspondent for Yachting Magazine, Senior Correspondent at Thomson Reuters, and Banking Correspondent at Dow Jones. Educational qualifications include a Post-Graduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from City University, London, and Master Certificates in Digital Marketing & Communications and Essential Marketing Strategy from the United Nations-backed European Centre of Technology. Heather Prentice holds a Master of Arts in English and French from the University of Aberdeen.
