Paul Newman

Paul Newman is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in the technology and lifestyle sectors, currently serving as Managing Director, Tech at Future since August 2005. In this role, Paul oversees strategy, business development, and P&L reporting for a portfolio of leading consumer technology brands, including TechRadar and Tom's Guide. Previous positions at Future included Managing Director, Tech Lifestyle, and Group Content Director, where Paul played a vital role in brand development and content quality across digital and print platforms. Paul’s career spans various roles, from Senior Editor at Computer Arts to Managing Editor at Highbury Entertainment, where successful product launches and editorial management were key contributions. In addition to industry roles, Paul served as External Examiner for the MA/PgDip in Magazine Journalism at Cardiff University from March 2017 to February 2021, ensuring academic standards in journalism education. Paul holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Nottingham Trent University.
