Tom Sammann has a diverse range of work experience in the financial services sector. Tom started their career at Ernst & Young as a Manager of Business Services from 1986 to 1993. Tom then worked at AMP as a Business Relationship Manager from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they joined CSF Financial Services Pty Limited as the General Manager of Financial Planning from 2001 to 2010. Tom then moved to Catholic Super, where they held various roles including General Manager of Member & Employer Services, Executive Officer - Finance, Risk & Operations, and Head of Corporate Services. After leaving Catholic Super in 2020, they joined Hall Advisory as an Associate Director, where they provided strategic advisory services to clients in the financial services, corporate, and government sectors. Currently, Tom is the Head of Risk Advice at Future Super, leading the risk management efforts for the organization and its associated companies.
Tom Sammann has a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a major in Accounting from RMIT University, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Tom also completed the Professional Year program in Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand between 1988 and 1990. In 2012, they began pursuing a Master's Degree in Organisational Leadership at Melbourne Business School, which is still in progress as of 2015. Tom Sammann also obtained a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) from AMP Financial Services in 2002. In 2021, they successfully completed the Financial Adviser Exam administered by FASEA.
