Emma Wareus has a long and varied work experience. Emma began their career in 2008 as a Sales Representative for Heineken, where they administered quarterly financial reports and liaised with Regional HQ to set local logistics management. In 2010, they became an Ambassador for Variety, the Children's Charity, where they advocated and raised awareness for ailments targeted towards children, and raised over $3 million USD on behalf of the charity from various donors globally. That same year, they became an Ambassador for the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre, where they represented the Republic of Botswana and was a liaison between international private and public sector and the government of Botswana. In 2011, they became an Ambassador for the Botswana-China Peoples Friendship Association, and an Ambassador & Program Support for the Clinton Foundation, where they analyzed 9 Malaria prone zones in the Republic of Botswana and facilitated seminars and workshops alongside the organization and government in the eradication of malaria. From 2015 to 2019, they were Assistant Consultant and Southern Africa Lead for Endsight Consulting, where they generated trends by integrating data from various sources, sourced, negotiated and executed deals, and ensured that the regulatory frameworks in client regions enabled the benefits of client in project lead cities. In 2019, they became Program Support for AECOM and Impact Investment for ASER Capital - Impact Finance Consulting Group (with George Washington University). Finally, in 2020, they became Director, Operations for Dobby, where they ran Operations and is fundamentally changing how we manage, maintain, and upgrade our homes. Currently, they are Head of Operations for Future.

Emma Wareus attended the Elliott School of International Affairs from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Arts in Economic Policy: Trade & Investment. Prior to that, they attended The George Washington University from 2014 to 2016 and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs: International Development, International Politics.
