Heather Marks

Heather Marks is a skilled Creative Producer and Strategic Lead at Words of Colour Productions since May 2017. Currently, Marks also serves as a Course Tutor at FutureLearn, collaborating on the online course "Introduction to Black British Literature" alongside Kadija Sesay and Dr. Deirdre Osborne. Previously, Marks held the position of Head of Engagement, Brand and Sales at No Bindings Ltd from February 2020 to August 2023 and was the Network Programme Producer for Bristol Festivals Network from October 2021 to March 2022, contributing significantly to the professional development within Bristol's festival scene. Marks has academic credentials including a Master of Arts in Black British Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama Studies & English from the University of Sussex.
