Jo Johnson

Chairman

Jo Johnson is the Executive Chairman of FutureLearn, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as the South Asia Bureau Chief and Associate Editor at the Financial Times, where they also worked as a France Correspondent. Jo has held several significant roles in government, including Minister for Universities, Science & Innovation, and has been a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2019. Additionally, they are involved in academic and advisory capacities, including serving as a Director at The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Visiting Professor at King's College London. Jo is currently the Chairman of the House of Lords Select Committee on 11-16 Education and holds various other positions in education and policy organizations.
