Peter Reed has a diverse work experience in the field of education and online learning. Peter is currently working as the Vice President Degree Programmes at FutureLearn, where they collaborate with universities to launch and deliver online degrees globally. Previously, they held various roles at Interactive and Laureate International Universities, where they were responsible for managing university partnerships, developing online programs, and implementing digital strategies. Peter has also worked as a Lecturer and eLearning Coordinator at Manchester Metropolitan University and as a Learning Technologist at Edge Hill University. Peter has a strong background in technology-enhanced learning and has been involved in research and project management in the education sector.

Peter Reed completed their education in a chronological manner as follows:

From 2000 to 2003, they attended Liverpool John Moores University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education Studies.

In the period of 2005 to 2007, they pursued a PG Diploma in Web Computing from Liverpool John Moores University.

Peter then enrolled at Edge Hill University between 2009 and 2011, where they earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (with FHEA).

Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, Peter Reed attended The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Reed has also obtained various certifications including Digital Strategy, Executive Leadership, Excel: Advanced Formulas and Functions, Digital Transformation, and Bill George on Self Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership, all from LinkedIn. Peter also received the Product Management: Building a Product Strategy certification from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in 2010, they obtained the Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) certification from Advance HE.
