Debarati Sengupta

Debarati Sengupta has a diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Their most recent positions include serving as the Chief Product Officer at Futurense Technologies and Miles Education starting in 2022. Prior to that, they founded and worked as the Chief Consultant at theIkigailabs from January 2022 until August 2022.

Debarati also had a long tenure at Wiley, where they held several roles from 2012 to 2021. These positions include Director and Associate Dean at Wiley Global Academy, General Manager - Product for WileyNXT, Associate General Manager - Products, Lead - Product and Partner Success, Product Development Specialist, and Associate Publisher.

Debarati also worked at Quadrum Solutions as the Managing Editor from 2011 to 2012, and at Big Synergy as part of the Kaun Banega Crorepati - Content team in 2011. Prior to that, Debarati served as a Commissioning Editor - Humanities and Social Sciences at Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc from 2009 to 2011 and as a Junior Literary Agent at Serendipity Literary Agency from 2006 to 2008.

Debarati Sengupta is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy and Leadership, with a focus on Marketing, at the Indian School of Business. Prior to this, they completed a degree in Publishing from New York University in 2008. Debarati also holds a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Jadavpur University. Additionally, Debarati has obtained several certifications, including "Data Conscious Leader" from Wiley, "Innovation Through Design: Think Make Break Repeat" from the University of Sydney, and "Advanced Instructional Strategies in the Virtual Classroom" from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education I Coursera, among others.
