Renner Vaughn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Renner began their career in the tech industry, working as an Engineer Intern at Scream Studios in 2004, followed by a role as a Runner/Assistant Engineer at Brandon's Way Recording in 2005. Renner then transitioned to the telecommunications field, working as a Network & Project Engineer at Verizon Business from 2005 to 2007. After that, they worked as a Network Engineer at WiLine Networks from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Vaughn joined Tropos Networks as a Customer Support Engineer, providing technical support and troubleshooting for wireless products. Renner later transitioned to a role as a Systems Engineer, supporting the pre-sales team in various projects. In 2012, they joined ABB as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for sales and technical support in the wireless communications sector.

Continuing their career in sales, Vaughn joined Cape in 2018 as the Director of Business Development, where they developed go-to-market strategies for the energy sector. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Sales Director at Sarcos Robotics before joining Cyberhawk as the VP of Sales in 2020. At Cyberhawk, they led the expansion of the US business, focusing on utility solutions and other key verticals.

In 2022, Vaughn transitioned to FutureOn as the VP Americas, overseeing commercial activities for the Americas region. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President - Growth at FutureOn, responsible for growing their largest accounts and leading commercial activities in multiple regions including the Americas, UK, Norway, and Europe.

Renner Vaughn received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. In 2004, they completed the Master Recording Program in Audio Engineering at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Renner also has additional certifications in Cisco Certified Networking Associate, FAA Part 107 Commercial UAS pilot, and ITIL Foundations.
