Bhaskar Chattaraj

Bhaskar Chattaraj is currently the Managing Director and Chief Science Officer at Howden Re, where they have been instrumental in building advanced risk management platforms for the insurance and reinsurance sectors since 2009. With over 25 years of experience, they have held key roles in analytical services and catastrophe modeling, including positions at John B Collins Associates and AIR Worldwide. In addition to their industry work, Bhaskar teaches Business Analytics courses as a Senior Lecturer at the Carlson School of Management, where they focus on fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. They hold multiple degrees, including an MS in Economics from Boston University and various certifications from prestigious institutions like Stanford and MIT.
