Surendra Kumar Sharma is an accomplished professional in the power sector with extensive experience in regulatory and commercial consultancy roles. Currently serving as Principal Advisor at Futuresafe Technologies since June 2022, Sharma focuses on advocating for consumer interests through government utilities and Electricity Regulatory Commissions. Previously, as Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs at Bajaj Energy, Sharma managed regulatory operations for significant power plants. Extensive experience also includes a General Manager position at Ratnagiri Gas & Power Pvt Ltd and leadership roles at NSPCL and NTPC, where responsibilities encompassed commercial operations, regulatory affairs, tariff negotiations, and customer relationship management.
