James Stringer is currently the Lead MLOps Engineer at Fuzzy Labs, where they lead a team in the development of open source AI projects. Previously, James served as a Data Science Team Lead at Peak from 2024 to 2025, and as a Senior and Data Scientist, where they implemented machine learning solutions for customers in CPG and manufacturing sectors. Before transitioning to the tech industry, James was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Manchester while earning their PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics between 2017 and 2021. Additionally, James holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the same institution, earned with First Class Honours.
