Rick Sluss has extensive experience in forestry and timberland management, currently serving as Manager at F&W Forestry Services, Inc. since June 2006, where responsibilities include managing timberland for private landowners and institutional investors, specializing in timber sales, appraisals, and rural real estate. Prior to this role, Rick held the position of President at Timberwise Inc from January 1996 to June 2006, overseeing consulting forestry services and property management for over 100,000 acres of Appalachian hardwood timberland in Kentucky and Tennessee. Rick's career in forestry began as an Area Forester at Champion International from September 1992 to January 1996, focusing on procurement. Rick attained both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Industrial Forestry Operations from Virginia Tech, with studies completed between 1985 and 1992.
