Pegah Jalaly

Architect at FXCollaborative

Pegah is an architect at FXCollaborative with more than 10 years of international work experience in a variety of project types and scales, from interior and architectural design to master planning and urban design. Her favorite aspect of the design process is problem-solving. With her dedication and management skills, Pegah has a proven track record of success as a designer. She has delivered quality design projects that meet the highest standards and requirements for stakeholder satisfaction.

Originally from Tehran, Iran, Pegah was influenced by the rich and intricate architecture of her home country. Her love for design and her strong math skills inspired Pegah to become an architect; the combination of art and engineering drew her to the profession. Pegah has lived in several countries and has traveled a great deal, and she is always fascinated by how culture and architecture are entangled in every corner of the world.

Pegah holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Azad University, a Master of Architecture from the University College London ‘s Bartlett School of Architecture, and a Master of Urban Design from CCNY's Spitzer School of Architecture. All three degrees have given her a new vision of what it means to design a space for people; she has opened her perspective to new types and scales of the built environment. As a result of her interdisciplinary studies, Pegah hopes to see more focus on the human/user experiences in architectural spaces than what technology, tools, or business trends of the industry might impose on the design process.
