Deepak Mehra has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Deepak began their career at Citi in 2008, where they held various positions in equities trading, sales trading, electronic execution platform sales, and technology until 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Director and APAC Head of Institutional Strategic Investments and Digital Solutions at Citi. In 2022, they joined Citi as the Director and EMEA Lead of Institutional Strategic Investments.

Alongside their role at Citi, Deepak Mehra has also held positions at several other companies. In 2020, they served as the Co-Vice Chair of the ASIFMA FinTech Working Group. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at BondEvalue. Deepak continued to expand their board memberships in 2022, joining companies such as TransFICC, FXSpotStream LLC, Solidatus, Dextcloud, Turquoise, and Qapita - CapTable & ESOP Management Platform. At TransFICC, they held the role of Board Observer, and at FXSpotStream LLC, Dextcloud, Solidatus, Turqoise, and Qapita, they served as a Board Observer or Member of the Board of Directors.

Additionally, Deepak Mehra was a Board Observer at OilX from June 2022 to January 2023.

Deepak Mehra obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Deepak later pursued an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Deepak has obtained several certifications, including "Leading Effective Decision-Making" from the Yale School of Management in October 2021, the "SIE - Securities Industry Essentials Examination" from FINRA in October 2018, and the "Series 55 - Limited Representative-Equity Trader Exam," "Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination," and "Series 7 - General Securities Representative Examination" from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in July 2015.
