Principal Platform Engineer / Cybersecurity Specialist at Fybr®

Paul B. began their work experience as a Bench Technician at Satellite Technology Services, Inc. in 1988, where they diagnosed and repaired satellite communications and tracking equipment. Paul then worked as a Research & Development Lab Technician at Gateway Telephone from 1990 to 1992. In this role, they worked on prototypes for handheld portable cellular telephones and hands-free interfaces, as well as design teams for integrated circuits. Paul then became an Engineer at Evolution, Inc. from 1992 to 1993. From 1993 to 2014, they worked at Navigation Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for hardware and software designs and worked directly under the Chief Engineer. Currently, Paul is serving as the Principal Platform Engineer / Cybersecurity Specialist at Fybr since 2014, where they are involved in the design and development of IoT hardware and software, as well as device security and cryptography. Paul is also responsible for bare-metal firmware.

Paul B. started their education in 1984 at East Central College, where they studied Computer Information Systems / Computer Science. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this institution. In 2019, they enrolled in Western Governors University and is expected to complete a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance in 2023, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
