Souvik Pal

Souvik Pal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Souvik is currently the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of FYELABS, a company that focuses on developing products for startups, founders, and small business owners. Souvik ensures that the products meet or exceed customer expectations despite tight budgets and timelines.

Prior to this role, Souvik served as the co-founder and Vice President of FYELABS. Souvik also worked at McMaster University as a Principal Research Engineer at the Computing Infrastructure Research Centre and as a Postdoctoral Fellow. At UC Merced, they held positions as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Assistant Specialist. Souvik also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech and as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services.

Souvik Pal completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Power Engineering at Jadavpur University. Afterward, they attended Virginia Tech from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Engineering Mechanics. In addition to their formal education, Souvik Pal holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Application Developer from Microsoft.
