Monica Roca-Quesada

Monica Roca-Quesada has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2000, they worked as an Assistant Supervisor at Carnival Cruise Lines, where they reconciled cash and credit card revenue. From 2004 to 2007, they served as an Accounting Supervisor at Qnovations Corporation, supervising various accounting functions.

Following that role, Monica worked at Town Center Management as a Staff Accountant from 2007 to 2008, managing accounting functions and financial relations. Monica then joined Belzona as a Staff Accountant, preparing accounting statements and resolving financial reporting issues from 2008 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, Monica worked at Lime Fresh Mexican Grill as a Senior Accountant, streamlining accounting tasks and handling revenue reconciliations. Monica then became the Controller & Operations Manager at Y-Not from 2012 to 2014, overseeing finance, accounting, manufacturing, supply chain, and human resources.

In 2014, Monica founded Agile Planners, focusing on educating, implementing, and automating systems for business planning. Monica also worked as the Director of Business Development at Mendelson Consulting Inc, cultivating a client portfolio and creating an affiliate program.

Monica's experience also includes being the FemCity Pembroke Pines Collective Leader at FEMCITY®, where they launched a collective group. Currently, as of 2022, they are the Co-Founder & CEO of FynOps, where they aim to democratize financial technologies for startups and small-to-midsize businesses.

Monica Roca-Quesada earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Albizu University - Miami Campus. Monica obtained this degree between 2003 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, Monica has also obtained various certifications related to accounting and financial services. These include the Certified Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification from Intuit Accountants, obtained in April 2018. Monica also holds certifications such as Hubdoc - QuickBooks Online Certification, Life and Variable Annuities from the Florida Department of Financial Services, Certified TSheetsPRO from TSheets, Certified QuickBooks Point of Sale ProAdvisor, Certified QuickBooks Enterprise ProAdvisor, and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, all obtained in various years between 2014 and 2018.
