David Charne

Co-founder & CEO at Fyrn

David Charne has held a variety of positions in the corporate world. In 2001, they began as an Analyst in Corporate Restructuring for ARTHUR ANDERSEN. Two years later, they joined Alvarez & Marsal as a Managing Director, Turnaround & Restructuring, where they progressed from an Analyst to a Managing Director over the course of 12 years. In 2016, they co-founded Fyrn, where they currently serve as the CEO. At Fyrn, they have developed an innovative system of furniture, called Stemn, that utilizes patented hardware to produce everlasting products with the goal of reducing the consumption of disposable goods and connecting consumers to the stories of the people, materials, and processes behind sustainable American manufacturing.

David Charne obtained a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis on finance and international economics, from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they are a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) through the AIRA-Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
