Somesh Devagekar

Somesh Devagekar is a skilled data scientist currently working at FYTA since March 2022, focusing on the development of an IoT health diagnostic device for plant healthcare. Prior experience includes serving as a mathematics tutor at Schülerhilfe for a brief period in late 2021, where Somesh utilized effective teaching methods to enhance student performance and confidence. From March 2019 to September 2021, Somesh worked as a machine learning research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing, contributing to the development of Digital Twins for thermoplastic lightweight composites. Earlier roles include serving as a system engineer at Infosys, focusing on installation and administration in IBM WebSphere, and as an application development analyst at Accenture, specializing in data warehousing using SAP Business Intelligence. Somesh holds a Master's degree in Autonomous Systems from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and a B.E. in Automation and Robotics from B V B College of Engineering & Technology, as well as a diploma in Mechatronics from M.L. Bhartesh Polytechnic.
