Brian Dowe

Brian Dowe has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brian started their career as a Science Teacher at Teach For America from 2013 to 2015. Brian then became an Educator at Summit Public Schools from 2013 to 2017, where they taught Physics and Biology and designed curriculum for project-based learning.

In 2019, Brian worked as a Course Instructor at SuperDataScience, developing an online course on the fundamentals of MongoDB and relational vs. NoSQL databases.

From 2018 to 2020, Brian worked at Education.com, starting as a Software Engineering Intern and learning Full Stack Web Development using PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and MongoDB. Brian then became a Full Stack Developer, responsible for building dynamic templates and user interfaces. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of a Dev Ops Engineer.

Currently, Brian is employed at Fyusion, Inc, where they started in 2020 as a Backend Software Engineer. Brian later became a Senior Full Stack Engineer in 2022.

Brian Dowe completed their education at three different institutions. In 2009, they enrolled at Skidmore College and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Following that, in 2014, they attended Loyola Marymount University and pursued a Master's degree in Education, which they completed in 2016. Lastly, in 2020, they undertook a Nanodegree program in Artificial Intelligence for Trading at Udacity.
