Andy Taylor

Andy Taylor is a Research and Development Technician at FZU - Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences since January 2009, with a focus on innovative carbon-based materials and electrochemical applications through various funded projects. Notable roles include co-investigator for recent grants aimed at developing electrode materials for environmental pollutant degradation and principal investigator for diamond-based microelectrode arrays for neural recording. Prior to this, Andy served as Principal Physics Technician at De Beers Technologies from 1990 to 2008, specializing in diamond grading, and as a Process Worker at AWE from 1986 to 1990. Academic credentials include a Higher National Certificate in Physics from Reading College of Technology in 1993.
