John Winter

John is the Chief Legal Officer & Secretary of Liberty Latin America. He is responsible for oversight of all legal matters affecting Liberty Latin America and risks management within the company, including legal support for corporate governance, financial reporting, litigation, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial contracts, regulatory and general compliance.

John joined Liberty Global in 2013 and was most recently Managing Director, Legal where he was responsible for various legal matters, including legal support for financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and governance.

Prior to joining Liberty Global, John was with the law firm Baker Botts L.L.P., most recently as a partner in the corporate department, specializing in public and private acquisitions, financings, and financial reporting.
