Ruben Olvera

Ruben Olvera has an extensive work history in the telecommunications industry. Ruben is currently working at Liberty Latin America as the Head of RAN Optimization and Quality Team since 2021. Before this, Ruben held the position of Head of Radio Access Network and Quality Team at Telefónica from 2015 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a 2G/3G/4G RF Optimization RNP & RNO Engineer at Telefónica from 2015 to 2020. Ruben has also worked at Networkers - Technology Recruitment as a 3G Network KPI Optimization, UMTS Consultant in 2014, and at Link Consulting as a 3G RF Consultant for Ericsson - Costa Rica, Telefonica Movistar from 2013 to 2014. Ruben also worked at OSC Telecoms & Security Solutions as a 3G RF Consultant for NSN - Peru, Claro (America Movil) from 2012 to 2013. Ruben's career started at Huawei where they held various roles including UMTS RNO Engineer, Technical Team Leader at Bolivia, UMTS RNO Engineer, Support Engineer at Ecuador, and UMTS RNP & RNO Engineer, Support Eng. at Ecuador from 2008 to 2012.

Ruben Olvera obtained a degree in Telecommunications from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.
