Derek Smith is currently the Talent Management Lead at G-Research, having previously served as the Talent & Development Director at Microsoft from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, Derek held the position of Global Head of Learning & Talent Management at SITA from 2017 to 2020, and has extensive experience in change management roles at Connemara and Accenture from 2003 to 2011. Derek completed the SITA 5.0 Leadership Program at IMD in 2020 and earned a Master's degree in Psychology from Stellenbosch University.
