Matt Smith

Matt Smith is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and systems administration. Currently serving as Cloud Engineering Manager at G-Research since May 2018, Matt previously held the position of Tech Lead in the same department. Prior to G-Research, Matt worked as a Consultant at Infinity Works and spent a decade at Sky, where roles included Cloud Platforms Engineering Manager and Infrastructure Design Manager. Early career experiences include systems design and administration roles at BBC and Excelsis Ltd., as well as programming and team leadership positions at OAG Worldwide and Excelsis Ltd. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Sussex.
