Steven Williard

Steven has over 34 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry covering all phases of the capital project lifecycle from feasibility studies to project close-out and commissioning. His work spans from construction of commercial high-rise buildings in New York City to mega-projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Williard has completed projects in almost all possible roles, employing almost all types of project delivery methods: construction manager, general contractor, traditional engineer/designer, technical consultant, Owner’s Rep; construction management, fast-track, design-build, GMP, EPC, bill of materials based contracting methods; AIA-based, FIDIC-based, and project-specific legal structures. Mr. Williard’s background also includes significant experience in general management consulting, including with one of the Big 4 Management consulting firms. This adds a depth of understanding of the unique aspects of capital projects related to accounting and financial, project control and reporting, legal, strategy and implementation, and business process improvement and change management.

Mr. Williard possesses a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell Univerity, a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering – Construction Engineering and Management from Penn State University, and an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Mr. Williard is a licensed engineer in the States of New York and New Jersey.
