Benjamin Kern

Benjamin Kern has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information systems, with a particular emphasis on roles within the US Navy and G2 Ops, Inc. Their career began as a Military Trainee in 1996, leading to various positions such as Petty Officer, Chief Petty Officer, Senior Enlisted Advisor, IT Network Administrator, and Information Systems Security Officer within the Navy. Benjamin later transitioned to G2 Ops, Inc., where they served as a Security Engineer III, then took on the role of Security Engineering Departmental Manager. In their most recent position at G2 Ops, Inc., they served as the Principal Security Engineer, overseeing cloud infrastructure security for NAVSEA Cloud Brokerages, managing teams, and coordinating with Navy stakeholders to resolve security incidents and ensure compliance. Throughout their career, Benjamin demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles while working in complex and critical environments.

Benjamin Kern holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University, completed in 2019.
