VP, Model-Based Systems Engineering & Chief Architect at G2 Ops

Dan Williams is currently the VP of Model-Based Systems Engineering & Chief Architect at G2 Ops. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 2007 to July 2010. There, they were a core member of a consulting team working with Admiral’s staff at the Pentagon to execute key initiatives that increase the speed and scope of Navy’s information sharing.

During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Dan researched and developed a set of recommendations on how to effectively move data collected by the Navy throughout the DoD. Their recommendations reduced cost, improved efficiency, and increased understanding of system and legal implications. Dan briefed the results to Admiral and senior Navy leadership.

Dan also improved Navy’s ability to share information in response to humanitarian crises by spearheading a workshop to identify gaps in the ability to share information in response to Haiti Earthquake. Dan designed, organized, and led a workshop with over 50 Haiti first responders to discuss how to improve information sharing. Dan authored a report summarizing key capability gaps and actionable solutions, and briefed the results to senior leadership. Based on their recommendations, the Navy modified how they share information in response to humanitarian crises.

Dan has also supported the Defense Acquisition Process (DAS), meeting Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) milestones, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) for POM-12.

Dan Williams has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.

Dan Williams reports to Tracy Gregorio, CEO. They work with Kevin Esser - Executive Vice President, Robert Gregorio - President, and Corren McCoy - VP Software Engineering & Chief Data Strategist.
