Godard Abel is the CEO of G2, a software company that provides configure, price, quote (CPQ) and quote-to-cash (QTC) software delivered on the Salesforce Lightning platform. Godard co-founded the company in 2000 and has since grown it from 5 to 200 employees. Under Abel's leadership, SteelBrick increased bookings by 37x in 7 quarters and raised $78M in venture capital from IVP, Emergence, Shasta and Salesforce Ventures. Salesforce acquired SteelBrick on 2/1/16 and they became Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Quote-to-Cash (QTC). Prior to SteelBrick, Abel was the Senior Advisor to Board at Oracle from August 2011 to July 2012.

Godard Abel has an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, an MS in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Godard also attended Sewickley Academy.
