Allen Aston

Allen Aston has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Allen currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at g2o, where they lead a team in developing an API for integrating with Fiserv's Communicator Open and Cleartouch Connect offerings. This project utilizes the latest technologies such as .Net Core and Azure DevOps. Prior to this, Allen worked as a Senior Software Engineer II at Cognizant Softvision, focusing on a modernization project for a healthcare client, involving the migration of a legacy .NET app to an Angular Nx micro frontend.

Before joining Cognizant Softvision, Allen was employed by g2o as a Senior Dotnet Developer for almost a decade. During this time, they worked on the development and testing of real-time and aggregate monitoring systems for industrial operations. Additionally, they held a lead role, managing small teams, mentoring junior developers, and architecting new projects. Allen was also involved in greenfield development projects.

Prior to this, Allen gained valuable experience as an intern at eRetailing Associates LLC and Applied Computer Systems. Allen also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University.
