William Raper

William Raper has a diverse work experience in the field of data architecture and management. Starting from their recent role as Director of Data Architecture at g2o, they have been responsible for leading the full lifecycle of analytical solutions, including data strategy development, architecting data pipelines, and guiding the development of analytical products. Prior to this, they held roles such as Practice Lead - Data Architecture and Big Data, Big Data Practice Lead, and Data Architecture Practice Lead, where they focused on developing requirements and implementing data warehouse and big data solutions for clients. Earlier in their career, they served as the Netezza Principal Engineer at Information Control Corporation (ICC), conducting data appliance trainings and architecting solutions. Before joining g2o and ICC, William also worked at Catalina Marketing, where they led a team in supporting over 200 Netezza databases. William has previous experience as a Senior Systems Administrator at GTE Data Services, a Consultant at SysLogic, Inc., a DBA at Titan Client Server Technologies, and a Programmer at Central Machine and Tool.

William Raper attended Oklahoma Christian University from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended Rochester University from 1982 to 1984, also studying Computer Information Systems.

In addition to their formal education, William Raper has obtained several certifications. William became a Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist in April 2023. William also holds certifications from Snowflake, including Hands On Essentials - Data Sharing (obtained in September 2020) and Snowflake SnowPro (obtained in March 2020 and March 2019). William Raper is a Neo4j Certified Professional, certified by Neo Technology, Creators of Neo4j, in April 2017.
