Liam L.

Liam L. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the drilling and oil industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering and Technology at GA Drilling since August 2023. Prior to this, Liam held senior leadership roles at NOV, including Senior Director of Engineering and Operations and Director of Engineering. Liam's tenure at Weatherford spanned from June 2007 to August 2017, where responsibilities included Chief Engineer and Project Manager for rotary steerable systems, as well as contributions as a subject matter expert in drilling mechanics and dynamics. In addition to practical engineering roles, Liam served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers from 2016 to 2017, sharing expertise on drilling dynamics and associated systems. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Postgraduate Certificate in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
