Torben Emmerling is the Founder and Managing Partner of Affective Advisory, a consultancy specializing in behavioral science for various sectors, including corporations and governments, since 2017. Concurrently, Torben serves as a lecturer in behavioral science and business ethics at ETH Zürich, behavioral science and customer excellence at the University of St. Gallen, and behavioral science and decision science at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. As a board member of both the Behavioral Insights for Better Politics and Societies and the Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists, Torben promotes the application of behavioral approaches in political and social contexts. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Rothschild & Co in professional services and project management positions at Julius Baer and Credit Suisse. Torben holds an Executive Master's Degree in Behavioral Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science and multiple degrees in business-related fields.
